Ana Kristina Gasteyer is an American actress comedian and singer. Most notable is her role as a participant on the NBC sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live from 1996 until 2002. Seit then she has starred on sitcoms, including ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto as well as on the television show Mean Girls. Gasteyer was a student at Northwestern University when she began her career as an actor. She began her studies as majoring in voice, but then moved to theater following her participation in the college's Improv team. Sheila Shay from Suburgatory was a very controlling character, like the character she plays in Lady Dynamite. Karen Grisham played the agent Karen Grisham who had a eccentric persona.
